Travelling by Map

Here's the plan...

Apparently Google Maps doesn't play as well as I thought it should with Blogger. Makes me sad. I'd really wanted this page to have the map with the cool dotted line bopping from place to place. Instead all I get to give you is this screen shot which you can click to access the map online that I shared and will likely add notes as time passe. Or you can click this link which does pretty much the same thing (well, exactly the same thing).

For those of you more table driven than visually inclined, currently the basic brush strokes of the trip look something like this:

End of June - Mid July: Road trip to Nova Scotia and back.
Mid July - Mid August: Get to the UK (likely via Iceland) and wander around it looking for stuff.
Rest of August: Hangout in Elsinore, Denmark and read Hamlet several times.
September: Hang out with family in Orebro, Sweden and meander around the country in search of I don't know what yet.
October: Get on a bus and see as much of Europe as we possibly can. No particular order, no particular plan. Just follow our noses and enjoy the neat people we meet along the way. So all the markers on the map are TBD - just tryin' to say we're gonna be busy then.
First bit of November: Kids hang with their mom and family in Italy. I attempt to avoid trouble throughout the land.
Mid November - New Years: Marrakesh Morocco
January 2015: Delhi, India.
February into early March: Kathmandu, Nepal, and a trek in the Himalayas.
Rest of March: Trek through Vietnam and Cambodia, ending up in Bangkok, Thailand
April: Chillin' out in Koh Chang, Thailand
May to mid-June: Beijing, China
Mid-June: Fly on home

Or at least that is what we're thinking might happen. Like I said, it's a work in progress. We'll see where we end up as we go along. That's kinda the fun of it all.
